About Gramercy Terraces
Gramercy Terraces is shaped by the heritage precinct of Bendigo Street on the grounds of the former ‘Studio Nine’ which was also once the site of the Wertheim Piano Factory. Using predominately Australian materials, Wertheim pianos quickly became the piano of choice for renowned performers including Australian opera singer Dame Nellie Melba. While Channel 9 Studios was home to some of Australia’s favourite shows.
Today the heritage-listed building retains many of its original features. Its aesthetic has been re-interpreted in a modern vocabulary for timeless appeal.
The perfect composition. For 60 years, and counting, Lendlease has an established heritage of global icons. Gramercy Terraces is composed in partnership with Balmain & Co, a Melbourne based construction company specialising in high-end projects.
